How Starwoven began

A passion for board games, and a first creation.

HexSwan began with a passion for board games. Starwoven is the first step from enjoying games to creating one: a space-themed strategy game built around exploration, colonies and the decisions players share on a common map.

For now, that creation takes the form of a digital prototype. It makes the game something that can be played, questioned and revised while development continues. The artwork introduces the world; playing reveals how its choices fit together.

HexSwan is the home for Starwoven and the ideas that may follow. This first game is a beginning, with plenty still to discover through development and play.
